Dr Rachel Adams
Dr Rachel Adams has been appointed Research Professor and Executive Director at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI).
Starting this week Dr Rachel Adams will act as CFI’s Executive Director while Professor Stephen Cave, the Academic Director of CFI, serves as co-Director of the Institute for Technology and Humanity (ITH).
Dr Rachel Adams is the Founder and CEO of the Global Centre on AI Governance, a global hub for research and evidence-led action on inclusive and equitable approaches to the use and governance of Al technologies.
Dr Adams commented: “The Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence has set the global standard for rigorous, interdisciplinary research on the societal impacts and implications of AI. I am honoured to join the Centre in this new capacity and to be working alongside such an exceptional group of scholars and practitioners to help ensure that the future of AI is shaped in the public interest.”
